Training Courses
ABS & SRS: This is a one day course on the two subjects of Automatic Braking Systems and Supplementary Restraining Systems; it is an ideal refresher course for those undertaking Senior M.E.T.ATA or for those wishing to gain a better knowledge of both subjects.
Aluminium Repair: This is a one day course aimed at qualified body repair technicians who want to gain knowledge of repairing aluminium used on vehicle body panels.
Car-O-Liner Chassis Rectification: This is a one day course intended for body repair technicians who have achieved VCQ Level 3 or have five years industry experience.
Colour Matching: This is a two day course for qualified refinish technicians who wish to improve their ability in colour matching on modern vehicles.
F Gas Certification: This is a half day course followed up by a half day assessment for individuals working on air conditioning in vehicles. It is mandatory after the 4th July that every person Europe handling refrigerant holds this certificate.
First Aid: This is a one day emergency appointed person course and is designed to meet the minimal requirements for a workshop with five or more persons.
Glassmatix Estimating: This is a one day course designed for new estimators entering into computerised systems.
Health and Safety in a Bodyshop: This is a one day course covering legalisation and EU directives governing safe working practices within the Bodyshop industry.
Interest Estimating: This course is for Bodyshop Estimators with at least one year’s experience of on the job estimating and is run by Inter-est staff. I would be of particular interest to work providers of Motorcare, or bodyshops who require a detailed computer based estimate without the expense of a full system.
Introduction to engine management: This is a two day course is aimed at vehicle technicians who have gained an VCQ Level 3 of five years industry experience and wish to improve their diagnostic skills.
Manual Handling: This is a half day course designed for anyone wishing to receive certification on this subject.
MIG Brazing and Aluminium Welding: This is a one day course and is intended for technicians with VCQ level 3 or 5 years experience welding modern vehicles, it is also informative for technicians wishing to undertake the Senior Panel ATA.
Plastic Welding and Repair: This is a one day QAA approved course and is aimed at body repair and refinishes technicians who wish to improve their ability to repair modern plastics.
Vehicle Refinishing: This is a four day course aimed at delegates with limited knowledge of vehicle refinishing and is practical based.
Welding to BSI Standards: This course is intended for qualified body repair technicians who require BSI certification in MIG and Spot welding and also for technicians contemplating Panel and Senior Panel ATA.
Four Wheel Alignment: This is a one day course intended for technicians of all levels, it covers all the aspects required to meet the M.E.T. ATA section on four wheel alignment.
Electronic Fault Finding: This is a one day course for technicians with at least 2 years industry experience working on damaged vehicles, it would be of particular interest to M.E.T. technicians wishing to gain Senior M.E.T. ATA.
Escribe Awareness and Part A Vehicle Damage Assessment: This is a one day course aimed at Bodyshop Estimators who need up-dating on Escribe methods or Estimators who require knowledge of repair technology.
