F Gas Certification

This is a half day course followed up by a half day assessment for individuals working on air conditioning in vehicles. It is mandatory after the 4th July that every person Europe handling refrigerant holds this certificate.

Course content:
Health and Safety
Procedures for handling AC refrigerant
AC recovery
Recharging an AC system
Leak detection
Storage and transfer of waste material

All delegates are required to complete an assessment and on-line test and if successful an IMI Awards certificate in refrigerant handling will be issued. The assessment can either be on the day or if preferred, in the delegate’s workshop at a later date, provided the AC equipment meets specification.
